(Psssst: no shipping from 11/16 - 11/26. I'm honeymooning in a foreign country)
1970 Japanese cinema has been on my mind. I've been exploring this month. These films are strange and disturbing yet fascinating on an anthropological level (what was going on with you, Japan. Is everything ok?). They've got lots of nudity, gang rape (often women on women, still disturbing) and an bounty of revenge violence perpetrated by wounded women (the best part).
This latest batch uses a screen shot from from "Female Convict Scorpion: Jailhouse 41".
Here's a scene from the film (NSFW)
One last thing: You can now join the mailing list to stay up to date on new developments. Check out the box on the right there.
More stencil fun. As the cold weather creeps into New York City doing spray painted stenciled boxes becomes an arduous task. I was happy to take advantage of the great weather and make these. Plus spraying paint is so much fun, even if it gets all over everything and takes 4 times a longer than using a label.

It's Ohnoho's Birthday!
It's hard to believe that what was once a way for me to save money on buying boutique pedals has become an actual real life business with customers literally all over the world. In this time I've moved in with my girlfriend. Made her my wife just 2 weeks ago. It's weird to say "I'm a husband". Never thought that would happen. I also never thought I would be sitting here in my underwear listening to a podcast on a Monday afternoon in June while "working". Being self-employed is awesome.
As a thank you to everyone that has said nice things about me and the stuff I make on the internet.. how about a 30% discount on everything for a week?
Let's do a sale, yeah?
30% everything!
Sale Ends July 4th.
Let's do this!
Stock is low on Utter Stutters and Joy Button CCBs. Grab them before I run out.
May brings us all new designs for almost every pedal!
Blowing Up - "Modern Detonator"
I recently rewatched "" and I got to thinking that nearly every movie I watched as a wee lad had Russians for bad guys. So then what's the modern bad guy? Times are different of course. There is no single leader, flag, dialect or even state to easily pin down as a defacto enemy for Hollywood to use as an evil force with out some explanation. That's what was so great about the cold war, lazy screenwriters and filmmakers didn't have to set up any motivation for the Russians. World domination was built in! In keeping up with lazy creative ideas I designed this for the new Blowing Up. It's an update of the 80's movie detonation device.
Baby Utter Stutter - "Untitled"
I made just one upside down one. If you want this unique piece make sure you let me in the note to seller box when you check out via PayPal
Utter Stutter- "Lines" "Sea Monster" and "Minimalist"
"Lines" - From far away it is really hard to tell what this says. Get this if you like to be stealth at your shows and keep the tone biters at bay. They won't know what pedal this is unless they see it up close.
"Sea Monster" - It took quite sometime to get the Gif compression right. I really wanted the image treatment I saw that time my cousin Jimmy showed me an animated gif of a naked gal doing naked things in 1994. Those 8 frames of looping copulation mark the first time the internet revealed it's awful/awesome potential.
"Minimalist" - Minimal design. Clean. Crisp.
CHK CHK BOOM - "Balloon" and "Toro"
This month CCBs are being offered in 2 flavors. If you want a Joy Button get a "Balloon"
If you want a loop mute get a "Toro"
and for the big finish... Ohnoho's got One-Spots!
Need a power supply? Get a One-Spot! I've had mine for 7 years and have never had a problem. The One-spot can power any Ohnoho pedal and 90% of the pedals out there. Check out this link for more info
NOTE: I can't send you one of these on their own. They can only be sold with a pedal. It's just the way it is with reseller business nonsense. I'd have to get the government involved with tax IDs and other time wasters if you wanted to buy one on its own.
Here's some screen print action for ya. I came across this image on tumblr and I just loved it too much to not use it for something.
This is my second screen print ever. And it came out as worn and weathered as I hoped. The base coat is speckled with a few different colors. Mostly greens and blues. I was going for a sea color scheme. The top screen print is the color of blood that's been exposed to oxygen for 15 minutes. Each pedal has it's share of scrapes, blemishes and blotting. Not one looks a like.
What was the first screen print? Well, if you order from me you'll see the nifty printed boxes and cotton bags my pedals come in.
Breaking my rules: Made 20 of this one. I liked it too much to just make 10.
I have no idea who the stamped character is. I'd bet that one of you nerds will know. Me thinks its some Star Wars related malarkey.
As usual each one is unique. Some are really dark. Some are smudgy. Some are very lightly stamped. The paint dribbles down the sides making it look like it was rained on.
Because it was. This time the white base coat was applied by poking a hole in the side of the paint can. It was hella fun to do and created some cool effects. And a gigantic mess. I'm considering trying the same technique in the future.
